LOOKING GOOD LONGER

MESO WHAT? MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy is a safe, natural alternative to invasive cosmetic procedures that has been practiced in Europe for at least a decade. The process includes the delivery of vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate.

The process promotes production of collagen and elastin, along with stimulation of ones own metabolism. It works by delivering a small amount of ingredients, like vitamins, minerals, and/or medications directly to the area that is distressed. Dr. Michel Pistor invented the technique in 1952.

As skin ages circulation decreases and the resulting reduction of oxygen and nutrients hinders the body's ability to flush out toxins. Actually "meso" means middle because the injections are made directly to the middle layer of skin. This is the area that traps fat in the body, especially the "love handles".

The ingredients that are used in the mesotherapy formula help to dissolve the fat and block the accumulation of more fat. After the treatment many patients describe their skin as looking rested, radiant, glowing and firmer. Mesotherapy can be used as a supplement or as an alternative to many procedures, including Botox, laser resurfacing, peels, antioxidants, topical creams, facelifts, weight reduction, cellulite, scar and wrinkle removal and in some cases restoring and restructuring thinning hair...

Mesotherapy is a highly effective rejuvenating treatment used to tone and tighten sagging skin on the neck, legs, abdomen, arms and hands. In Europe women often start the treatments in their twenties, but Mesotherapy can be of value during any stage of a woman's life.

Sousanna Lachtchouk, F.N.P of the Westside Medical Group uses only medicines and plant extracts that are obtained from American pharmaceutical companies. She uses very thin tiny needles to inject the medication painlessly into the skin. All patients are asked to follow a low carbohydrate, low sugar, and a healthy diet, which is simple to implement.

Toxins will be eliminated, because lots of water is used to flush out these substances, along with the dissolved fat. Exercise is needed to circulate the medications, so patients are asked to walk or perform another form of aerobic activity 3 times a week. The only side effects known are some swelling, redness, or tenderness on the area injected.

Those who cannot have mesotherapy are pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with blood clots, patients taking medications for heart disease, patients with a history of strokes, patients with active skin diseases, and patients with recent cancer or dependent diabetes.

The benefit of Mesotherapy over the surgical techniques of liposuction is that Mesotherapy treats a cellulite condition directly, promoting smoother skin and reducing fat in the selected areas. The fat deposits are flushed from the body, and do not reappear in other areas, which many times will happen after a liposuction treatment.

The formulas prevent the cells from storing fat, and help to break down existing fat cells. Some of the fat areas targeted are, double chins, love handles, abdomens and other areas showing fat pockets. Also, Mesotherapy does not require general anesthetics and there is no down time.

Mesotherapy is also used to rejuvenate the skin on the face and body with vitamin injections that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. As before mentioned Europeans have been known to begin this anti-aging treatment very early in life to actually prevent early aging and wrinkles from forming. These treatments for the face, neck, arms and hands are recommended several times a year.
