Did you know that you age in every part of your body?
Female wellness is just as important as taking care of your face. Westside Aesthetics is introducing a revolutionary technology that rejuvenates the vaginal area and remarkably restores women’s confidence: ThermiVa in Los Angeles.
Over the course of a woman’s life, factors like age, weight change, childbirth and various medical conditions can cause the muscles of the vagina and surrounding tissues to loosen, often causing reduced sexual satisfaction and incontinence. With time, many women also experience a reduction in lubrication, causing discomfort with sex. Many women feel a reduced confidence as these changes to the function and appearance of the vaginal area occur. To address these issues, Westside Aesthetics has begun to offer the Los Angeles ThermiVa vaginal rejuvenation treatment – a quick and pain-free procedure that tightens muscles, reduces loose skin, improves lubrication and decreases incontinence.
ThermiVa is a 30-minute non-surgical treatment that gently applies radiofrequency (RF) energy to reclaim, restore and revive feminine wellness, without discomfort or downtime. The RF energy stimulates collagen production within the skin as well as elastin production with the soft tissues. It increases nourishment to the tissues by stimulating blood vessel production and increases sensitivity by stimulating nerve regeneration. You can see and feel results immediately after your first vaginal rejuvenation in Los Angeles! For optimal, longer lasting results, it is recommended to have 3 sessions over a period of three months. After 3 sessions, ThermiVa effects should last about a year.

Why Have Vaginal Rejuvenation with ThermiVa?
Many women find, as they grow older, that things down there simply are not working the way they used to. Childbirth, hormonal changes, and the inevitable process of aging can all take their toll on a woman’s body and sexuality. Laxity in the vaginal area can reduce sensation and satisfaction with sexual activity, cause urinary incontinence, and affect woman’s intimate appearance and self-confidence.
Performed at Westside Aesthetics in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, vaginal rejuvenation with ThermiVa is a groundbreaking feminine rejuvenation procedure. By stimulating the body’s own natural production of collagen and elastin, this noninvasive treatment tightens and strengthens tissues and underlying muscles, increases moisture, and enhances sensation when engaged in intimate relations.
For many patients, ThermiVa vaginal rejuvenation produces a dramatic improvement in feminine appearance and makes it easier to achieve orgasm. Combined with Kegel exercises for the pelvic floor muscles, ThermiVa can help correct stress urinary incontinence, a common condition after vaginal childbirth that involves leaking small amounts of urine during coughing, sneezing, or exercising.
Why Radiofrequency Energy for Vaginal Rejuvenation?
Advanced radiofrequency technologies are being widely and successfully used for a range of aesthetic treatments. These cutting-edge techniques stimulate tissue remodeling properties and production of new collagen and elastin fibers.
The ThermiVa procedure is performed using a specially designed radiofrequency device that emits temperature-controlled radiofrequency energy. This temperature control capability allows the surgeon to customize ThermiVa treatment for each individual patient.
Vaginal treatment with radiofrequency energy gives a lift to both the labia majora (larger, outer folds) and the labia minora (smaller inner folds). It corrects vaginal laxity and stress urinary incontinence. This painless procedure can significantly improve both the appearance and the function of the vagina in a quick, comfortable treatment with no downtime.

Candidacy for ThermiVa
A woman above eighteen years of age is eligible to undergo ThermiVa treatments. Although ThermiVa is used to treat the prolapse of the vagina, in cases where there is significant prolapse, ThermiVa may not prove to be effective. Pregnant and nursing mothers are not eligible to undergo ThermiVa treatments. Women have to wait at least three to four months after childbirth to undergo a vaginal rejuvenation.
In addition, a woman who has any long-term illness is not eligible to undergo vaginal rejuvenation.
Recovery with ThermiVa
Most patients experience no recovery period after a ThermiVa procedure. This is a noninvasive treatment in the doctor’s office takes approximately 15 minutes to perform. The procedure is painless and there is no need for anesthesia.
There is no downtime associated with ThermiVa treatments. Patients can return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure. Women can even engage in sexual intercourse on the same day of treatment if they choose to.
ThermiVa Vs Surgical Rejuvenation
ThermiVa essentially uses the heat energy produced by radiofrequency energy to stimulate the collagen in the walls of the vagina. The stimulation and production of new collagen lead to the tightening of the vaginal muscles resulting in a tighter vagina. This is one of the safest procedures for vaginal tightening.
Surgical vaginal rejuvenation is an invasive procedure in which the tissues of the vaginal wall are tightened. Surgical vaginal rejuvenation involves surgical incisions and sometimes stitches. This makes surgical rejuvenation risky since incisions and stitches are always prone to infections.
In addition to this, surgical vaginal rejuvenation can only treat the vagina or labia in one session. On the other hand, ThermiVa treatments can target both the vagina and labia in one single session.
Frequently asked Questions
Is ThermiVa a painful procedure?
ThermiVa makes use of a temperature-controlled system to deliver heat energy to the vagina. Due to this controlled delivery of heat, the patient is likely to experience little or no pain. In fact, it feels like a warm, internal, relaxing massage.
How long do the results of ThermiVa last?
The ThermiVa treatments typically last anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes and there is no downtime. Patients can get back to their normal routine the same day as the procedure.
The results of ThermiVa treatments can last between nine and twelve months. A follow-up treatment may be required once a year to maintain the results of the procedure.
What is the cost of ThermiVa treatments?
Typically, the cost of a ThermiVa treatment can fall between $1,800 to $3,000 for three sessions. This includes only the cost of the treatment. The cost can vary from clinic to clinic and may also include the cost of medications, facilities, and the technician’s fee in most cases.
